NHL Advanced DFS Cheat Sheets | Thursday, September 3, 2020
Looking for a quick consolidated list of options to play today? Let’s take a look at our DraftKings and FanDuel Cheat Sheets to help navigate today’s slate!
Well, the 2019-20 season doesn’t want to end from a DFS standpoint. We have another slate that has the potential to be the last non-showdown slate as the Canucks and Flyers both pushed off elimination for another 48 hours (at least) as they both got wins to stay alive. The Flyers played a really strong overall game, while Vancouver got the game of his life from Demko, who was thrust into the fire and stole Game 5 for Vancouver, really shaking up the Tuesday night NHL slate as he was low owned in all contests (10% or under on a two game slate).
Tonight, we have two game sixes – and I continue to prefer the Islanders and Golden Knights in the respective series. Anything can happen on any given night, but I think that both of those teams are poised to have a good shot of advancing tonight. For the Isles, I continue to like their second line – led by Brock Nelson and Beauvillier (though Josh Bailey has had a great playoffs as well) and for Vegas, their top line along with Theodore is one of the best in hockey. Both teams roll out all four lines, though they have contrasting styles with the Isles clogging things up while Vegas may be the best team in hockey right now – they are a treat to watch.
I think you can go under-weight exposure on the NYI/PHI game, with a projected goal total of 5 and a narrow line, I think we’ll see another close checked game with the odds of any lines going nuts pretty minimal…though NYI2 is my favourite of the bunch here. Varlamov and Hart should see a chunk of your G exposure, with the edge in my books going to Varlamov as I like the Isles in this game.
Vancouver will probably be the lowest owned stacking team (right there with PHI, but I think the Flyers will see a little boost after getting some production in game 5). Boeser was re-united with Petterson and Miller and that paid off as Boeser was flying all over the ice and potted a goal and set up another on a nice Petterson tip to win the game…though Travis Green will continue to mix up the top 6 for Vancouver tonight, I’m sure – and it looks like me may skate with Horvat and Miller tonight. Edler continues to block shots on the back-end like a mad man, and is a high floor option on the point.
I’ve included my favourite options for tonight’s action on the cheat sheet below!
