Looking for a quick consolidated list of options to play today? Let’s take a look at our DraftKings and FanDuel Cheat Sheets to help navigate today’s slate!
Another night, and another slate – and this one should be a great one with two game 7’s on tap. Dallas and Colorado get things underway at 4pm EST after Colorado has stormed back from down 3-1 to force game 7. Colorado’s top line (though I think Landeskog is going to be doubtful to play after his injury in Game 6), led by MacKinnon was dominant in game 6’s win – and as is usually the case, the top line for Colorado will probably be the most popular option from a stacking standpoint for today’s action. Keep an eye on their lines in warmups here. For Dallas, their top line has been pretty quiet & will have to step things up to have a chance in this one. Both goalies should see a fair number of shots in this one – though neither are great options in my opinion, though I would give a slight edge to Michael Hutchison in this one as I do like the Avs to pull off the comeback. I expect this game to be another high scoring affair. Dallas’ second line is a great value option as a two man stack (Pavelski-Gurianov) with Janmark as an option if you want to use all three. Cale Makar and Heiskenan are my favourite options on the back-end in this game, with Ian Cole and Oleksiak as my favourite punts in this one.
For the second straight game, Vegas peppered Thatcher Demko with shots, and he shut them out. He looked exhausted at times last night but kept turning away shot after shot – so much so that it looked like a shooter tutor was between the pipes, only one that had no holes on it. Conventional wisdom says that Vegas will eventually break the dam here and see some regression to the mean in terms of their shooting percentage – though I do think their ownership levels will take a hit given how good Demko has been the last two games. I like buying this dip with an over-weight position on Vegas with the caveat that is Demko keeps playing like this, you’ll lose tonight by doing so….but I think it’s a chance worth taking. Don’t sleep on Vancouver skaters. They may not rack up the SOG, but the key cogs on their top two lines along with Edler and Hughes on the back-end are worth 20-25% exposure in my opinion. Demko and Lehner are the two goalies that I would put the highest weightings on tonight. The elite d-men for Vegas are all in play for this one, with Theodore continuing to be one of – if not the best d-men in these playoffs. All in all, the O-Zone time has been so lopsided that I think it’ll be difficult for the Canucks to pull this one out…though anything can happen – so enjoy the action tonight!
